Troops First Foundation

Troops First Foundation develops, operates and supports a synergistic group of wellness, quality of life and sports-based initiatives in support of today's military personnel including: providing housing for wounded warriors, funding trips by college basketball coaches to military bases around the world (Operation Hardwood) and facilitating trips for injured veterans back to the site of their injuries (Operation Proper Exit). Troops First Foundation is one of three official charities of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

In addition, these Troops First Foundation initiatives facilitate a greater recognition and an enhanced understanding of the quality and character of the men and women who volunteer to serve, their families, their daily sacrifices and the constant need to evaluate and improve their quality of life. Both non-injured and injured military personnel and their families are served at no cost to them by Troops First Foundation’s initiatives.

FishBait serves as both a sponsorship/fund raising agency for Troops First Foundation and as the liaison between the Foundation and the NABC.
